So this morning i woke up and this is what i saw, i don't remember the weatherman saying that we were suppose to have snow. I took this out my bedroom window, the cats were sitting up there just chattering away, so had to see what they were yakking about, so there were about 5 robins out there just sitting till they saw me with the camera and took off except this little fellow who was kind enough to sit while i took his photo.Isn't it spring YET?
I had forgot they were coming today, every two yrs the PP&L comes out and butchers my tree, i will take a photo of the tree another time as they are still out there doing a number on it. I keep telling them to move there ugly electric lines and leave my tree alone.Do they listen? NO! They just butcher it. I think hubby said he was going to see about trimming it up better this yr, so it doesn't look so lopsided.

Wow! Snow indeed! I'm sorry about the tree but it'll be healthier after the trim, won't it?
I'm sending some spring over to you :) Love the shot of the robin.
Good photo of the robin. Sorry about the snow!
Hope the tree guys didn't do too much damage.
I know you are probably tired of the snow but to someone like me who doesn't see much it's just plain pretty!!
What a surprise you woke up to! Looks like the wet sloppy kind that's no fun to shovel. Hopefully it melts quickly.
Yeah, Progress Energy does the same thing here. I suppose it'll always be that way as long as they keep running power lines between poles like that. Sorry about your tree though.
Snows are really nice, especially if it's not from our place :D
I just had enough of them.
Poor tree. I hate to see this. Our spring has sprung so I;ll send the manx fairies to sprinkle it your way.
I'm finding the snow pretty since we don't have one here, sometimes we're also tired of the too much heat esp this coming summer. :)
Wow you still have such thick snow. Keep warm. Nice pictures of the man at work. Happy Tuesday.
That's a shame they have to keep cutting away at your tree. Beautiful snow shots and I love the one with the bird. Not too much longer before spring.
That's some heavy duty snow! Reminds me of when we had a foot of the stuff on a St. Patrick's Day years ago. I had an opening at a gallery, and it only figured. Your photos are wonderful!
We don't have snow in our country, looking at your beautiful photos, snow must be very fun. Anyway, I like the picture of the robin.
That bird better get better at reading weather reports.
Sorry about your tree. Down here, they would just take the whole thing down.
We got more snow to.
I heard about a snowfall, heavy, in the WA area, I didn't know you got your share too. We down here got a little bit of rain.
We don't have snow here, perhap I can't stand the coldness of snow.
Nice shot & Thanks for sharing.
Ah yes, snow, it does get old after awhile. I guess that is why we are in Sacramento and no longer in the eastern Sierra. We've been to Bend a few time, it is a lovely town and not as remote as our former home in Bishop, CA. I'll have to visit your blog often you are in such a lovely area.
Thanks for your visit to my blog...interesting place you live...ah, snow..I guess everyone is sick of it now and hoping for Spring!
Sad, the tree has to bear the brunt.
The robin looks pretty, but I am sure it is waiting desperately for all the ice to melt away.
Where is the Spring? I don't think is somewhere near. The little bird is fantastic. Like a model waiting for the shot from the photographer.
Wow..where are YOU? I was in Colton and all we had was HAIL..strong hail over and over!
OC was clear all day!
Be those cats loved the live view!
You are lucky that they do their butchering in winter when the trees are dormant. Here, they do it in the height of summer with Temps. over 40 degrees. They do it ostensibly to reduce fire danger from the powerlines. Often they make such a botch of it that they cut the tree off at ground level. They have no horticultural training whatever and often masacre trees of species that will never reach the danger height.
Wow you still having winter, nice shot of the bird.
Guess it's still snow time in some parts of the country. Hope you get spring very soon.
Good shots here.
Love the 1st.
Oh my ... more snow indeed! Love the little bird on the rail and hope Spring comes to your part of the world soon.
Hugs and blessings,
my oh my look at all the snow you've still got.
great shot of the little robin ^..^
take care and keep warm.
I hope I don't see anymore of that white stuff around where I live.
Poor little robin - he must be freezing! Great photo though!
Thanks for the visit over at SWF this week. I see you had a bit of snow - we lucked out this time and it passed us by. Have a great weekend. Hopefully you are getting some of our Canadian sunshine by now. - Margy
Oh wow! And all we got were some sprinkles to tease us. Oh well, we had 20 days of snow this year when usually it is about 3.
I think powerline treebutchers exist all over the world, at least where there are utterly stupid overhead wires. Here they are worse and butcher in the height of summer when the trees are most vulnerable due to intense heat stress.
You may not be so enamoured with it, but i love your new snow cover!
